GHOSTBUSTERS: LEGACY, THE MYSTERY OF THE THEFT OF THE ECTO-1 REVEALED. IT WAS ROVAZZI!

It was Fabio Rovazzi who stole the Ecto-1! More or less.

The theft of the historic Ghostbusters car, which we told you about a few days ago, turned out to be a clever marketing move to accompany the release of Ghostbusters: Legacy . Or is it really an extreme gesture born of too much desire to see the film? Judge for yourself …

The cast of the film

Paul Rudd plays Mr. Grooberson, a teacher of protagonists Phoebe ( McKenna Grace ) and Trevor ( Finn Wolfhard ), children of single mother Callie ( Carrie Coon ). Grooberson was a young boy in 1984 when the Ghostbusters fought Gozer in New York. An event that today is known as the “Manhattan Crossrip”, and is considered almost a myth by the youngest.
In the cast we also find Finn Wolfhard ( Stranger Things, IT ), Carrie Coon ( The Leftovers, Fargo, Avengers: Infinity War ), Mckenna Grace ( The terrifying adventures of Sabrina, Captain Marvel ),Celeste O’Connor , Logan Kim and Paul Rudd ( Ant-Man, Avengers: Endgame ). With them also Oliver Cooper .

A passing of the baton

Ghostbusters: Legacy is a real “handover” behind the camera, as Jason Reitman is the son of Ivan Reitman , director of Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II .

For Jason, this is a major change in his career, which until now has always been focused on dramatic and introspective comedies of a semi-independent nature, such as Thank You For Smoking, Up in the Clouds, Juno, Young Adult, Tully and the very recent The Front. Runner . His father Ivan participates as a producer, while the screenplay was written by Jason together with Gil Kenan ( Monster House, Ember, Poltergeist ).
