We thought that the production of the series set in the MonsterVerse would begin in May, but now Production Weekly reports that the shooting will be postponed: it will begin next July.
The Godzilla Vs. Kong sequel will also be shot later this year, in Australia.
Returning to the show, it is a spin-off set between the first Godzilla and the subsequent King of the Monsters .
The details are few, but we know that the plot revolves around a family who discovers they are linked to Monarch , the secret organization that studies giant monsters.
Filming is expected to take place in Tokyo, Vancouver and Hawaii. We do not know why Legendary has decided to postpone them, but the project is still in its infancy, so we should not be surprised that there are changes in production (especially in times of Covid). The series will be made for the Apple TV + platform .
We will keep you posted.
