GOOD OMENS: THE OPENING CREDITS OF SEASON 2

In anticipation of the debut of Good Omens season 2 , Prime Video has shared online the opening credits of the series based on the novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

Peter Anderson , creative director of Peter Anderson Studio , who also worked on the opening credits of season 1, exclusively revealed to Polygon that the scene in the cinema will change from week to week.

He then added:

“If you look carefully, a character from the first season of the series is trying to escape from hell again! We started the sequence of the second season as a direct sequel to the first. The content of the titles was a hauntingly detailed account of the story of the new series, with some goodies for the most die-hard fans.”

The second season

Explore new stories that expand on the series’ source material to chronicle the surprising friendship between Aziraphale, a fussy angel and rare book dealer, and the fast-living demon, Crowley.

Having lived on Earth since the beginning of time and once the apocalypse is averted, Aziraphale and Crowley return to a quiet life among mortals in London’s Soho, when an unexpected messenger presents them with a startling mystery.

The cast

It includes Michael Sheen and David Tennant as the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley respectively, we will also find: Jon Hamm (Archangel Gabriel), Doon Mackichan (Archangel Michael) and Gloria Obianyo (Archangel Uriel).
Returning in new roles: Miranda Richardson (the demon Shax), Maggie Service (Maggie) and Nina Sosanya (Nina). To them are added: Liz Carr (the Angel Saraqael), Quelin Sepulveda (Angel Muriel) and Shelley Conn (the demon Beelzebub).

Neil Gaiman is once again the co-showrunner and executive producer alongside EP Douglas Mackinnon , who also again serves as director on the six episodes.
Also executive produced are John Finnemore ; Rob Wilkins of Narrative; Josh Cole , Head of Comedy at BBC Studios Productions. Finnemore also serves as co-writer alongside Gaiman .

The new season, produced by Amazon Studios, BBC Studios Productions, The Blank Corporation and Narrativia , will arrive on Prime Video on July 28th .
