How to create a Gmail ‘alias’?

To generate the ‘alias’ of Gmail, you must perform the following steps:

  1. To add an ‘alias’ to email, you must first create a Gmail account.
  2. When the email account is originated, you must go to “Settings”, then click on the “See all settings” option.
  3. Then select the “Accounts and import” tab.
  4. Later, click on the option “Add” another email address, that function is located in the “Send as” menu.

  6. Next, click on the “Next step” option.
  7. Then a verification email arrived to the Gmail account that was used. That email will contain a confirmation code and a link that you click to enter the code that was provided and the process will be completed.
  8. From the moment an email is written from the main account, two options will be displayed, this means that you can choose between the main and secondary email.
  9. Finally, if the secondary is chosen, the messages will reach the main account and there will be no need to change accounts for it to be displayed.
