With one episode per week given at the same time as the debut on HBO Max.

The iconic teen drama about the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite developed by showrunner Joshua Safran, former writer and executive producer of the original series of the same name, is back. The new episodes are also based on Cecily von Ziegesar’s bestselling novels and the original show developed by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.

The plot

It’s the second semester of senior year and Gossip Girl is determined not to give anyone a break by exposing the scandalous lives and lies of the scions of Manhattan’s elite. After all, you have to give your audience what your audience wants. So now it’s time for her to get back into action and look at her own impact and how she can make it more catastrophic than before, even if that would mean lying. Old enemies, new allies, everything in constant flux: there can be only one queen, and by the end of the school year everyone will know where the secrets have been (un)buried…and who brought them out into the open.

The cast of the second season of Gossip Girl includes Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak, Savannah Lee Smith and Grace Duah . Guest star Michelle Trachtenberg .

Gossip Girl is produced by Fake Empire and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios. The series is written, produced and developed by Joshua Safran ( Random Acts ); also executive producers are Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of Fake Empire and Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo of Alloy Entertainment . Fake Empire’s Lis Rowinski co-executive produces.

The first season debuted in 2021 and is fully available on demand on Sky and streaming on NOW.
