Filming of the Gotham Knights pilot began in Canada.
And a very significant photo leaks from the set: the shot shows Bruce Wayne ‘s headstone in the Hamilton cemetery, Ontario, which acts as a “stunt double” to that of Gotham City.
As we know, this potential TV series vaguely draws inspiration not only from the upcoming video game of the same name, but also from the Devin Grayson comic and the more recent Battle for the Cowl : the aforementioned Bruce Wayne was murdered, and they are blamed for the murder. both the adopted son ( Turner Hayes , played by Oscar Morgan ) and the children of some of Batman ‘s enemies , who are then forced to form an unlikely band of heroes to clear their name and save Gotham City.
Rumor has it that the pilot will open with Wayne ‘s funeral , and the epigraph suggests that his secret identity is now known to the world:
He lived in the shadows. She now she lives in our hearts.
That reference to having “lived in the shadows” would not be explained otherwise. However, the Gotham Knights production has not yet been ordered by The CW , but it seems difficult for the network to miss such an ambitious DC project. It will not be set in the Arrowverse , so it will make its own story.
The pilot is written by Chad Fiveash , James Stoteraux and Natalie Abrams , who serve as executive producers with Sarah Schechter , David Madden and the ubiquitous Greg Berlanti . Directed by Danny Cannon . You can see the photo below.

The Gotham Knights synopsis
After the murder of Bruce Wayne, his rebellious adopted son forms an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies, having all been accused of killing the Dark Knight. And, as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade gang of misfits must fight to clear their name. Meanwhile, without Batman’s protection, Gotham plunges into the most dangerous abyss it has ever faced. But hope comes from the most unexpected places: these mismatched fugitives will in fact become the new saviors of the city, and will be known as Gotham Knights.
