New entry in the cast of Gran Turismo , the live action adaptation of the videogame saga of the same name, produced by Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions .
These are Maeve Courtier-Lilley ( The Outpost ), Emelia Hartford ( A Hollywood Christmas ), Pepe Barroso ( High Seas ), and Sang Heon Lee ( XO, Kitty ).
With them we will find the previously announced Orlando Bloom , David Harbor , Djimon Hounsou ( Guardians of the Galaxy ) and the former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell-Horner .
Jason Hall ( American Sniper ) wrote the screenplay, while behind the camera we will find Neill Blomkamp . The film will be produced by PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan , along with Doug Belgrad and Dana Brunetti .
This is the plot:
Based on a true story, the film follows a teenage Gran Turismo champion who achieves his greatest wish when his skills allow him to win a series of Nissan competitions to become a true professional car driver.

The first game produced by Kazunori Yamauchi , released in 1997, has been acclaimed as one of the most authentic driving simulators in its class due to the precision of the graphics, the driving physics and the attention to detail of the cars that players create and drive .
The series has sold more than 85 million copies and the most recent edition, Gran Turismo 7, is out this year for PS4 and PS5.
