A new version of the classic video game is in the works for the Oculus Quest 2.
“Grand Thef Auto: San Andreas” , one of the most popular video games in history, will come to Facebook’s Oculus Quest 2 in virtual reality .
Mark Zuckerberg took advantage of the Connect event to announce the project in development.
“Today at Connect, we announced that the Rockstar Games classic“ Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas ”is in development for Quest 2 . Get a new perspective on Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas as you experience (again or for the first time) one of the most iconic open worlds in videogames ”, indicates the Oculus website.
In process
There are no definite dates and the Facebook company ensures that it will soon show more details about the game.
“This is a multi-year project and we can’t wait to show you more,” said Oculus.
A classic
“Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas” was released in 2004 alongside the PlayStation 2 and Xbox generation consoles. The game has enjoyed launch on different platforms, including new generation mobile phones and consoles.
What’s more, GTA San Andreas is part of the remastered trilogy to launch on November 11 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
