The show is described as the number one animated series of the past four years.
Big City Greens , one of Disney ‘s most important animated series will return with its third season on theDisney Channel in the US fromFebruary 12 .
The broadcaster has ordered a fourth season of the Daytime Emmy-winning and Annie Award-nominated series. The total number of episodes will exceed one hundred. In addition, a spin-off feature film will be made for both Disney Channel and Disney.
The executive producers and creators of Disney Television Animation’s animated comedy are brothers Chris and Shane Houghton .
The film and the creative team of the series include: producer Michael Coughlin ( The Muppets ), co-EP Stephen Sandoval ( The Owl House ) and composer Joachim Horsley ( Spirit Riding Free ) as composer.
The third season:
The story arc will bring a big change for optimist and troublemaker Cricket Green (voiced by Chris ), who has moved from the countryside to the big city with his decidedly out of place family: hardworking father Bill (voiced by Bob Joles ), the bittersweet grandmother Alice (voiced by Artemis Pebdani ) and the eccentric older sister Tilly (voiced by Marieve Herington ), who in the third season will participate in a rite of passage, an event in the style typical of the Greens.
