After the trailer unveiled at the Game Awards , the Halo series returns to show itself with the first poster.
The poster portrays Master Chief ( Pablo Schreiber ) from the shoulders down, holding his famous helmet. The image, published by the official Twitter profile , is accompanied by a very clear description:
We are all counting on him.
As we know, Halo is the adaptation of the video game saga of the same name by Bungie Studios . The series was supposed to air on Showtime , but ViacomCBS found it more appropriate to move it to the new Paramount + service , where it will be released in the first quarter of 2022.

The cast
The cast includes Pablo Schreiber ( Master Chief ), Natascha McElhone ( Dr. Catherine Halsey and Cortana ), Bokeem Woodbine ( Soren-066 ), Shabana Azmi ( Admiral Margaret Parangosky ), Bentley Kalu (Spartan Vannak-134 ), Natasha Culzac ( Spartan Riz-028 ) and Kate Kennedy (Spartan Kai-125 ).
The direction
Following the departure of Rupert Wyatt ( Rise of the Planet of the Apes ) and Michael J. Bassett ( Silent Hill: Revelation ) due to agenda issues, Halo will be directed by Otto Bathurst , the same as Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror and last Robin Hood .
War in the 26th century
The official description illustrates the series as “an epic 26th century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant” , with an “imaginative future where deep personal stories unfold . “
Showrunner and production
Showtime has ordered 10 episodes of the series, entrusting the role of showrunner in Kyle Killen ( Lone Star, Awake ) and Steven Kane ( The Closer, The Last Ship ); both, however, left the show. Production is handled by Amblin Television, Showtime and Microsoft / 343 Industries .
