Alice Oseman wrote the series based on her comic. The first season covers volumes 1 and 2, so three more remain to be adapted (of which the last, still unreleased, will be released in February 2023). The official synopsis
A boy meets another boy, the two become friends and fall in love. Soft-spoken Charlie and rugby enthusiast Nick met in high school, and soon discover that their unlikely friendship is turning into unexpected love. Charlie, Nick and the group of friends must navigate an all-too-familiar journey of self-discovery and acceptance, helping each other as they search for their truest selves.
