HEAVEN IS EVERYWHERE: JOSEPHINE DECKER’S FILM FROM FEBRUARY 11 ON APPLE TV +

Heaven is Everywhere , the film produced by A24 and directed by Josephine Decker ( Madeline’s Madeline, Shirley ), will arrive on Apple TV + on February 11th.
With the announcement come the first images of the film, written by Jandy Nelson , author of the novel of the same name.

The plot

Hidden in the magical redwoods of Northern California and surrounded by her grandmother’s giant roses, 17-year-old Lennie Walker, a true musical prodigy, struggles with the excruciating suffering that engulfed her following the sudden loss of her older sister, Bailey. When Joe Fontaine, the school’s charismatic new kid, enters Lennie’s life, she is instantly drawn to him. But Lennie’s complicated relationship with Toby, her sister’s devastated boyfriend, conditions the fledgling romance between her and Joe. Through his vivid imagination and his feelings, honest and conflicting, Lennie navigates between first love and first loss to create a song of his own. Acclaimed director Josephine Decker directs this heartwarming adaptation of the novel of the same name.

The cast
