Disney + has given the green light to the fourth season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series .

In the meantime, the arrival of the third, scheduled for 27 July, is expected.

The new episodes will follow the Wildcats as they leave the corridors of East High for their final summer at summer camp, complete with bonfires, summer romance and curfew-free nights.

The series

Inspired by the immense success of the two-time Emmy Award-winning High School Musical franchise, which catapulted characters like Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens into showbiz by dominating the Billboard charts, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series has again conquered the public, helping to launch the careers of some of Hollywood’s next big stars. Among the original hit songs of the series are “Just For a Moment”, the ballad of the first season that Joshua Bassett and Olivia Rodrigothey wrote for their characters Ricky and Nini. “All I Want,” the platinum-certified song that made it to the Billboard Hot 100 and that Rodrigo wrote and performed as Nini during the first season. And “The Rose Song”, an impressive song that Olivia Rodrigo wrote for Nini in the second season.
