The plot of House of Gucci
House of Gucci is inspired by the shocking true story of the family that founded Gucci. The Italian high fashion house that has become famous all over the world. The film chronicles three generations of Gucci across three decades. Power, Creativity, Ambition, Betrayal, Revenge and a murder. All for the control of the Maison that bore the name of their family.
The cast
In addition to Lady Gaga and Adam Driver , the cast of House of Gucci also includes Jeremy Irons, Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Salma Hayek, Jack Huston, Reeve Carney and Madalina Ghenea.
Production
The production is handled by Ridley Scott himself and Giannina Scott with their Scott Free Productions. Filming also took place in Rome, and then they will move to Florence and Lake Como. MGM will handle the distribution.
The screenplay was written by Becky Johnston (also author of the story ) and the Italian-English Roberto Bentivegna , starting from the book House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor and Greed by Sara Gay Forden . The Italian release is expected on December 16 , with distribution by Eagle Pictures .
