HOUSE OF THE DRAGON – EMILY CAREY TALKS ABOUT HER FAREWELL TO THE SERIES AND THE ARRIVAL OF OLIVIA COOKE

As we know, the fifth episode of House of the Dragon , the Game of Thrones prequel series that tells the story of House Targaryen , marks the farewell of Milly Alcock and Emily Carey .
Starting with the next episode, in the roles of Rhaenyra and Alicent, we will find Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke , this is because there will be a big time jump.

Interviewed by Variety , Emily Carey spoke about this farewell, revealing that she had met her colleague Olivia Cooke on very few occasions and, above all, hinting that her path in House of the Dragon has now ended.

We haven’t been able to meet for a long time. So many things happen in this 10-year time frame. We go from being a child to becoming a woman. From a certain point of view it is as if we are interpreting people in a totally different way.
It’s very strange, you are given so much freedom for a role but then you can’t read the rest of the scripts, because they are Top Secret. I can’t wait to see Olivia and Emma D’Arcy, who plays the adult Rhaenyra. They are particularly lovely people and I have always admired Olivia’s work. Being able to hand over this role fills me with joy and pride.
I can’t wait to see the series as a spectator. I can judge it as an audience, and this thing is very nice.
