In some cases you can find unlocked cell phones cheaper than in postpaid plans.
A new tool will allow you to compare the price of cell phones in the plans of different mobile operators and some retailers in Peru.
The tool “Check your mobile equipment” from the Supervisory Agency for Private Telecommunications Investment (OSIPTEL) allows you to review the price of cell phones in the main mobile operators in the country, as well as the price of equipment in the “open market” in stores such as Ripley , Falabella, Tottus, Sodimac, Promart, Plaza Vea, Hiraoka, Coolbox and Oeschle . Prices of marketplaces such as Linio and Lumingo are also reviewed .
“Check your mobile device” lists 120 models of 20 available brands from the main brands: Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple , Motorola, ZTE, Huawei, Vivo, Nokia , among others.
This tool is a good reference to check prices, although it does not include the online stores of manufacturers such as Samsung, Huawei, Honor, Motorola or Xiaomi.
