After a very brief introduction of the previous chapters, the official trailer for Ice Age: The Adventures of Buck shifts the focus to the new chapter.
Buck, the slightly insane, one-eyed reckless weasel always chasing dinosaurs, accidentally fell into the world below and first appeared in Ice Age 3 – Dawn of the Dinosaurs . Together with Crash & Eddiee and some new friends they embark on a new mission: to save the Lost World from the domination of the dinosaurs.

History
After the events of Ice Age 4 – Continents Adrift, Crash and Eddie have an argument with their sister and decide to return to the old Valley to return to the Dinosaur World and reunite with Buck to live a life of adventure.
Buck agrees that this can help him defeat a group of evil dinosaurs that are wreaking havoc in the underworld. Meanwhile, Manny, Sid, Diego and Ellie must return to the Lost World to bring them back to the Pack.

The film, produced by 20th Century Studios , marks John C. Donkin’s directorial debut . The score was composed by Batu Sener (How to Train Your Dragon).
Simon Pegg, Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah and Chris Wedge reprise the roles of Buck, Manny, Sid, Diego, Ellie and Scrat respectively.
Seann William Scott and Josh Peck were replaced by Vincent Tong and Aaron Harris as Crash and Eddie.
The film will debut exclusively on Disney + on January 28, 2022 .
