INDIANA JONES 5: THE FIRST SCENES SHOWN AT D23 EXPO

Indiana Jones 5 was presented during the D23 Expo. Harrison FordandPhoebe Waller-Bridgetook the stage to show the first scenes to the audience.

With them also the director James Mangold , who said:

I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark in high school and it’s one of the reasons I became a director, Steven Spielberg is one of my favorite directors.

And Harrison Ford is one of my all time favorite actors. And John Williams, one of the greatest composers of all time. It has been an honor and a pleasure to collaborate with you on this project, which also stars the phenomenal Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

The trailer that was shown to the public contained the following scenes:

  • Mads Mikkelsen in the role of a Nazi
  • Indy riding in the New York subway
  • A chase through the streets of Manhattan and Sallah (played, once again, by John Rhys-Davies)
  • A first look at Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s character
  • Indy using his whip against a group of bad guys, who respond by pointing guns at him.

Harrison Ford , visibly excited, has hinted that this will be serious the last time we see him in the role of Indiana Jones:

Thank you for making these films such an amazing experience for all of us. Indiana Jones movies are about mystery and adventure, but they are also about the heart.

The fifth Indiana Jones

Harrison Ford will reprise the role of the mythical adventurer archaeologist. The cast of the film will also find Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen , Thomas Kretschmann , Boyd Holbrook , Toby Jones and Shaunette Renée Wilson . James Mangold has replaced Steven Spielberg as director, but the historic director of the saga remains as producer along with Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel . John Williams will return to music.
