intel unleashes a beast

Intel introduced several desktop and mobile processors earlier this month, but there had been no mention of the “6GHz processor” the company had teased in 2022.

After AMD’s launches, which include Ryzen 7000 processors with 3D V-Cache, Intel has taken the opportunity to show its top of the range.

And Intel ‘s numbers are promising. The company indicates that the Core i9-13900KS has 24 cores and achieves 6 GHz frequency in “stock”. That is, overclocking is not necessary .

Intel Core i9-13900KS key facts:

  • Up to 6GHz frequency with Intel Thermal Velocity Boost without overclocking.
  • Intel Adaptive Boost for better gaming performance.

  • Support of up to 5,600 MT/s in DDR5 and 3,200 MT/s in DDR4.
