iOS 15.2 on iPhone: what’s new in the update and how to use it

The privacy and handling of your data remain one of the issues that Apple  reinforces the most.

The iPhone has a new software update. iOS 15.2 is here and it is a version that brings more news than what I name, typical of iterative updates, would suggest.

These are the main changes, also coming to iPadOS 15.2 , many of them already reported in advance.

App privacy report

Now you will know in detail how often apps access private information in the last seven days.

For example, how long ago did an app access the camera, location, microphone, among others.

o view. Go to Settings> Privacy> App privacy report> Activate .

Contact for legacy

You can designate someone you trust to have access to the data stored in your account after your death.

To designate a legacy contact. Access your Apple ID > Password and security> Contact for legacy (digital).

Apple Music and news

Now it is possible to access the new Apple Music plan with which music is selected by interacting with Siri . This one is cheaper… but you will have to chat with Siri .
