Yesterday we found out that Titans and Doom Patrol will end their run in their respective fourth seasons, still airing on HBO Max in the US.
Considering the changes within DC Studios , with James Gunn and Peter Safran busy building the new DC Universe , it came natural to many to think that these cancellations were a consequence of these changes: we know in fact that, in Gunn ‘s intentions , all the films, series, animation projects and video games will have to be part of the same narrative universe, so there will no longer be room for standalone shows.
Well, now we find out that the decision to shut down Titans and the Doom Patrol concerns neither Gunn nor Safran , but rather predates their arrival at DC Studios . Responding to a user on twitter, the director said:

Indeed, even before the arrival of the new presidents, the impression was that Warner wanted to concentrate on other projects for the small screen, more linked to upcoming films. We’ll see.
The HBO Max release
HBO Max greeted the two series with the following statements.

The fourth seasons of Titans and Doom Patrol
As mentioned before, the fourth season of Titans is currently being released on HBO Max ( trailer here ). The same goes for the fourth of Doom Patrol , which however is still paused at the moment, and will resume later ( here the trailer). In Italy, they will arrive on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video respectively , but the dates are not available.
