Lance Reddick , actor seen in the saga John Wick and in the series The Wire , has died at 60 years old. According to TMZ, his lifeless body was found in his home in Los Angeles around 9:30 in the morning.
The cause of death was not disclosed, but according to what was revealed by the police it would have occurred due to natural causes.
Born December 31, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland, Reddick began his artistic career as a musician, playing upright bass for the NEC Jazz Orchestra. Later he had decided to devote himself to acting, studying at the Yale School of Drama. In 1996 he made his acting debut in the film The First Wives Club , but the real success came with the series The Wire and the role of Cedric Daniels, played for the entire duration of the series.
Reddick had appeared in many television series, including Lost, Fringe, American Horror Story, Bosch and The Blacklist . He had also worked as a voice actor on numerous animated films and video games, such as Destiny, Horizon Zero Dawn and John Wick Hex . The last interpretation of him was in John Wick: Chapter 4 , the film with Keanu Reeves arriving in our theaters on March 23, 2023 .
