We recently found out that filming on Loki ‘s second season is expected to begin next summer.
London’s Pinewood Studios, starring Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino . Well, now Gugu Mbatha-Raw has confirmed that she will return in the role of Ravonna Renslayer .
Interviewed by Good Morning America , the English actress hasn’t gone too far on the subject, but has declared her love for the character:
I know there will be a Season 2. I know there will be me too, and that’s all I can say. I love Renslayer. I am very excited to explore it further, and I am very happy that the public is looking forward to next season.
In the comics, Ravonna comes from a kingdom under the control of Kang , who falls in love with her and – after several vicissitudes – is reciprocated. In the series, however, she is a judge of the Time Variance Authority who knows the secret of the Time Lords . She and Mobius M. Mobius ( Owen Wilson ) are friends, but we still don’t know for sure if the latter will return in the second season. We don’t even know who will be directing, because Kate Herron won’t be back .

The six episodes of the series were directed by Kate Herron , a television director known for Five By Five , Sex Education and the premiere of Daybreak .
The showrunner
The pilot was written by Michael Waldron , screenwriter of The Worst Guy of All Time (and the Girl Who Came to Kill Him) , whose script topped the 2018 Black List. He also worked with Dan Harmon on Community and Rick & Morty .
