Lost in Space will return to Netflix on December 1st with the third and final season.

The third season
Netflix renewed Lost in Space for a final season in March 2020 . Immediately after the renewal, however, the processing of all Netflix series and films was blocked due to the Covid-19 emergency. The second season premiered on the platform on December 24, 2019, more than a year and a half after the first (April 13, 2018).
Developed by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless ( Dracula Untold , The Last Witch Hunter ), Lost in Space is the reboot of a classic 1960s science fiction series. Sazama and Sharpless are also executive producers with Synthesis Entertainment’s Kevin Burns (who owns the rights to the show) and Jon Jashni . The showrunner is Zack Estrin ( Prison Break ). Neil Marshall ( The Descent , Game of Thrones , Hellboy ) has directed several episodes, and also holds the position of executive producer.
The cast includes Parker Posey (Dr. Smith), Taylor Russell (Judy Robinson), Ignacio Serricchio (Don West), Toby Stephens (John Robinson), Molly Parker (Maureen Robinson), Mina Sundwall (Penny Robinson) and Maxwell Jenkins ( Will Robinson).
The synopsis of season 3
New dangers and new adventures await the Robinson family. With the Jupiter 2 stranded on a mysterious ocean planet and deprived of the support of their beloved robot, the Robinsons must join forces, along with the evil and manipulative Dr. Smith and the charming Don West, to return to the Resolute and reunite with the other colonizers. . But they soon realize that not everything is as it seems. As they search for a way to track down the robot and a safe passage for Alpha Centauri, they face a series of incredible new threats and surprising discoveries, but nothing prevents the Robinsons from protecting their family: surviving, after all, is their specialty.
