Nothing better than a rom-com to spend an evening waiting for Christmas, right? Netflix certainly thought so, which included Love Hard – a romantic comedy that’s actually Christmas-themed – in its Holiday programming. It will actually arrive very soon, on November 5th, but you can always decide to wait and see it! Here is the trailer …

The official synopsis

Unfortunate in love, a Los Angeles girl falls head over heels for an East Coast guy on a dating app and decides to surprise him for the holidays, but finds out she’s been tricked. This romantic and lighthearted comedy tells the story of her journey in search of love.

The cast

The film stars Nina Dobrev , Jimmy O. Yang , Darren Barnet, Lochlyn Munro, Harry Shum Jr., Rebecca Staab, Mikaela Hoover, James Saito and Darien Martin . Directed by Hernan Jimenez ( Elsewhere ), while the screenplay is the work of Daniel Mackey and Rebecca Ewing .

Love Hard is part of a calendar of Christmas proposals that also includes In the Shoes of a Princess: Chasing the Star , the third installment of the saga with Vanessa Hudgens coming on November 18th. The programming runs from November 1st to December 24th. On the other hand, for Americans, the holidays practically begin on the occasion of Thanksgiving, which this year will be November 25th. HERE the Netflix Christmas programming.
