Training hard

“I competed in my first jiu jitsu tournament and won a few medals (gold and silver) for the Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu team. Thanks to Dave Camarillo, Khai Wu and James Terry for training me! ”, Wrote the CEO on his social networks.

As seen in the photographs, the tournament was held at Woodside High School in California, near Meta’s headquarters in Silicon Valley.

The faces of those attending the tournament were surprised: many did not imagine that the head of the most important social networks in the world was participating in the competition.

To free your mind

Zuckerberg has been seen in these martial arts training sessions in the past.

In the Joe Rogan podcast, he assures that he constantly resorts to exercise after feeling overwhelmed by the dozens of notifications he keeps.

The 38-year-old billionaire said he got his start with mixed martial arts and surfing because they all require you to be focused all the time. “What is something that is super attractive physically, but also intellectually, where you can’t afford to focus on something else?” he pointed out.

“If you stop paying attention for a second, you’ll end up in the background,” Zuckerberg added.
