Tomorrow we will see the official trailer of MEN , a film by Alex Garland that aroused a lot of curiosity with the teaser last February.
On the other hand, the director of Ex Machina , Annihilation and Devs has already entered the hearts of many science fiction fans, and could do the same with the horror genre.
Waiting for the trailer, A24 has released a disturbing poster: it is the portrait of a man ( Rory Kinnear ) deformed by a strange grin.
The film’s lead is Jessie Buckley , an Academy Award nominee for The Lost Daughter , who plays a young woman on vacation alone in the English countryside after her husband’s death. She will be haunted by a mysterious presence with the features you see in the poster.
The US release is expected on May 20 . You will find the poster below.

The cast
After meeting several potential stars, the director cast Jessie Buckley in the lead role. The talented Irish actress was recently acclaimed for I’m Thinking About Ending It Here , Fargo 4 and The Lost Daughter (which earned her an Academy Award nomination), but is also known for About Rose, Dolittle and Chernobyl , among others.
The cast also includes Rory Kinnear ( Skyfall, Peterloo, No Time to Die, Black Mirror, Penny Dreadful ) and Paapa Essiedu ( Utopia, Murder on the Orient Express, Gangs of London, I May Destroy You ).
Production
A24 has funded and will distribute Men , but Scott Rudin , Eli Bush , and the DNA of Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich are also involved in the production . Rudin had also produced the other two Alex Garland films , and the Devs series .
