Huawei ‘s financial director recently returned to China after being released in Canada, a country from which the United States wanted to extradite her.

Wanzhou has been Huawei ‘s chief financial officer for more than a decade after moving up in the company from the Finance department.
The top executive recently led the company’s financial results conference call, her first public event since returning from Canada .
Wanzhou was arrested when she made a stopover in Canada in 2019 with the United States seeking to extradite her while sanctions against the Chinese giant were added, compromising her access to Google Mobile Services and technologies such as 5G in its new phones.
Huawei management changes
Meng Wanzhou ‘s rise as rotating chairman coincided with changes in Huawei’s top management.
Guo Ping stepped down as rotating chairman with Ken Hu assuming the position from April 1 to September 1 this year.
Xu Zhijun ( Eric Xu) and Meng Whanzhou (Sabrina Meng) are the other two executives who will eventually become Huawei ‘s president .
