Meta services are available again.
Users of Meta’s services reported connectivity problems for Facebook, Messenger and Instagram this Wednesday afternoon.
The problem started after noon, details the DownDetector page .
Interestingly, the WhatsApp service worked correctly without any crashes.
What’s going on?
While on Facebook you could not update the wall or read the messages, on Instagram neither the app nor the web version with its direct messages worked.
Messenger was in the same problem, with problems to send messages or read multimedia files.
The service was gradually improving and has stopped showing drops after 2 in the afternoon.
It is the first interruption since the Facebook parent changed its name to Meta, in its projection into the metaverse.
