Various leaks indicate that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Smart Band , one of the most popular physical trackers globally, will have a stronger battery.
Xiaomi ‘s Mi Band series have become one of the most popular physical tracking wearables worldwide, and not only because of their price but also because of the features of these smart watches .
Now, the model number of the 7th generation Mi Band (M2129B1) has been spotted on the website of Belgium’s SGS-CEBEC and Indonesian Telecom, revealing details about battery capacity .
According to the MySmartPrice report, the reveal has been said to also include details on some key specifications of Xiaomi ‘s upcoming device .

One of the most notable details of the leaks is that Xiaomi ‘s fitness watch will have a 250 mAh battery . If this is confirmed at its event to be held on March 12, Xiaomi is increasing the battery twice as much compared to the predecessor Mi Band 6 .
The Mi Smart Band 7 is expected to come with a 1.56-inch AMOLED screen and will most likely have a resolution of 192×490 pixels .
Xiaomi’s watch will come equipped with an always-on display, to provide a new look every time it is worn.

Other leaked specifications of the Mi Smart Band 7 is that it will come with built-in GPS . This will allow users to track better without having to carry their smartphone with them when performing physical activities.
It is also reported that it will have a smart alarm function that will wake the user up 30 minutes before the main alarm time. In addition, it is speculated that it will incorporate a power saving mode to take care of battery life.
It has not been mentioned if the Mi Band 7 will come with NFC , Xiaomi normally adds this feature to a separate version of the global one and it is released in China.
