Iman Vellani could not have hoped for a happier debut than this:
a huge fan of Marvel comics (and films) , the very young newcomer got the role of Kamala Khan in Ms. Marvel , immediately demonstrating a marked talent for acting.
Well, the new actress was a guest of Jimmy Fallon , where she unveiled a clip from the second episode: Kamala has obtained the power to generate constructs of purple energy thanks to the bracelet of one of her ancestors, and now she experiments with her friend. Bruno Carrelli ( Matt Lintz ) on the rooftops of Jersey City, wearing the costume of his beloved Captain Marvel . The heroine can use these constructs as platforms to move through the air, as well as to hit enemies.
As we know, Kamala will later become the co-star of The Marvels with Carol Danvers ( Brie Larson ) and Monica Rambeau ( Teyonah Parris ). The latter has been postponed to July 28, 2023 , while the second installment of the series will arrive on Wednesday June 15 on Disney + .

Ms. Marvel introduces Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani-American from Jersey City. Aspiring artist, avid gamer and fan-fiction writer, she is a huge fan of the Avengers – and especially of Captain Marvel. But she Kamala has always struggled to find her place in the world, at least until she gains superpowers like the heroes she has always admired. Iman Vellani plays Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel. The series is directed by executive producers Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, with executive producer Bisha K. Ali serving as head writer.
Ms. Marvel
Created in 2013 by Sana Amanat (editor), Stephen Wacker (editor), G. Willow Wilson (text) and Adrian Alphona (drawings), this version of Ms. Marvel is Kamala Khan , a Pakistani-born teenager living in New Jersey and , after the explosion of the earthly bomb, she develops inhuman powers: she thus discovers that she is a shapeshifter, capable of varying the size of her body (even of a single limb) at will. She is the first Muslim superheroine to become the protagonist of a Marvel comic series , and her splendid adventures have been appreciated for the excellent characterization of the characters, the surreal taste, the drawings of Alphonaand the freshness of the story, where millennials find redemption against the rhetoric of those who consider them a “lost” generation.
