With the second trailer of the animated series My Happy Marriage , produced by Kinema Citrus (Made in Abyss), Netflix has confirmed that the series will debut on the platform worldwide from July 5th .

Adaptations
The series is based on the Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon light novel series of the same name , written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka .
Since December 2018, the homonymous manga by Rito Kohsaka has been published on Gangan Online by Square Enix . Circulating copies of the novels and manga, including digital editions, have exceeded 7 million copies.
A live-action adaptation was released in Japanese theaters in March, and in its 11th weekend (June 2-4) it fetched ¥2,733,776,450 ($20.5M) and sold 2,071,447 tickets.
The synopsis of the novel:
Born talentless to a noble family famed for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into an existence of servitude by her abusive stepmother. When Miyo finally reaches marriageable age, however, her hopes of being destined for a better life are dashed when she discovers the identity of her fiancé: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander apparently so cold and cruel that his previous would-be brides have all eloped within three days of the engagement. With no home to return to, she Miyo resigns to her fate and soon discovers that her pale, handsome future husband is far from the monster she expected of her. As they slowly open their hearts to each other, they both realize they have a chance to find true love and happiness.
