On the occasion of the Super Bowl , Netflix has released a new teaser of The Adam Project , preceded by a rundown of the other films arriving on the platform in 2022.
Specifically Knives Out 2, Day Shift, The Mother, Enola Holmes 2, The Gray Man , Slumberland, You People, Me Time, The School for Good and Evil .
As we know, the film had a troubled gestation: years ago Paramount with Tom Cruise had to make it, then it found a home at Netflix , where it will be released on March 11th .
The official synopsis
13-year-old Adam Reed is still mourning his father’s sudden death the previous year, and one night he finds an injured driver in his garage. It is actually an older version of Adam himself, coming from a future where time travel is taking its first steps. He risked everything to go back on a secret mission. Joining forces, they must embark on an adventure into the past in search of their father, put things right and save the world. As the three work together, both young and old Adam process their grief and have the opportunity to heal the wounds that forged them. In addition to the difficulties of the mission, the two Adams find they don’t like each other much, and if they are to save the world, they must first find a way to get along.

The Adam Project cast includes Ryan Reynolds , Catherine Keener, Walker Scobell, Alex Mallari, Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner and Zoe Saldana .
The screenplay
The latest version of the script is the work of Jonathan Tropper (creator of Banshee and Warrior ), while the previous version is by TS Nowlin ( Maze Runner, Pacific Rim: Uprising ).
