A new trailer is available for New Santa Clause Wanted , the Disney + series that will be the sequel to the Santa Clause trilogy .
The series, which will see the return of Tim Allen as Scott Calvin / Santa Claus and Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol Calvin, will arrive on the platform on November 16 with the first two episodes.
As we know, New Santa Clause Wanted will also see the return of David Krumholtz as elf leader Bernard. Krumholtz appeared in the original film, only to reprise the role in the sequel What Happened to Santa Clause? . He did not appear in the third chapter, Santa Clause is in trouble . In the cast we will also find Laura San Giacomo , seen in Barry and NCIS , in the role of the Befana.
History
In the 1994 film Santa Clause , Tim Allen plays the role of Scott Calvin, the replacement for Santa Claus, complete with an oversized waistline, rosy cheeks and a snow-white mustache.
In the Disney + series , Scott Calvin is about to turn 65 and realizes he can’t be Santa Claus forever. He is starting to miss out on his responsibilities as Santa Claus and, more importantly, he has a family that could finally benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two children who grew up at the Pole. With plenty of elves, children and a family to please, Scott sets out on a search for a suitable Santa to replace him as he prepares his family for a new adventure for a life south of the Pole.
