Amazon has unveiled the first poster of Night Sky , an intriguing sci-fi series that will debut on May 20 on Prime Video .
The cast is led by two purebred performers, Sissy Spacek and JK Simmons .
The former protagonist of Carrie the Oscar winner for Whiplash play a couple who have discovered a mysterious chamber buried in the garden, and have been protecting this secret for years: the room leads in fact to a strange desert planet. The arrival of an enigmatic young man named Jude ( Chai Hansen ) suddenly turns their lives upside down.
The series was initially called Lightyears . Filming began in June 2021 in Illinois, and ended in October. There will be eight episodes.
