NVIDIA introduces its option for light gaming and anticipates the RTX 3090 Ti.
AMD unveiled its Radeon RX 6500 XT at CES 2022 and NVIDIA is not far behind.
NVIDIA announced the RTX 3050 for desktops, an option for light gaming, but capable of Ray Tracing gaming .
The RTX 3050 aims to replace the GTX 1650 and GTX 1050 of past generations, GPUs that remain in force mainly due to the current semiconductor crisis.
These GPUs feature 8GB of DDR6 VRAM, 18 RT Cores, and 73 Tensor Cores. This allows them to use NVIDIA technologies such as DLSS and NVIDIA Broadcast.
The RTX 3050s will be available starting January 27. Its price will start, if the market allows it, from US $ 249.
NVIDIA also anticipated the arrival of the RTX 3090 Ti with 24GB of VRAM, which will give more details later this month.
