WhatsApp has announced which would be the devices or operating systems necessary to be able to continue enjoying this app.

WhatsApp currently supports the following devices:

- Phones running KaiOS 2.5.0 and later, including JioPhone and JioPhone devices
These are the obsolete mobiles for 2022
- Samsung Galaxy S2
- Motorola Droid Razr
- LG Optimus Black
- HTC Desire
- Iphone 4s
- iPhone 5
- Iphone 5c
- Iphone 5s
WhatsApp can only be activated with one phone number and on one phone at a time.
Your phone must be able to receive SMS messages or calls during the verification process. Setting up new accounts on Wi-Fi only devices is not supported.
