Cast and staff:

The Straw Hat crew consists of: Iñaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp) and Taz Skylar (Sanji).

Steven Maeda  (Lost, The X-Files) covers the role of showrunner, writer and executive producer. The screenplay also  has Matt Owens  (Agents of SHIELD, Luke Cage) who also covers the role of executive producer.

Marty Adelstein  and  Becky Clements  of  Tomorrow Studios  (Cowboy Bebop, Snowpiercer, Hanna) are executive producers alongside  Eiichiro Oda .

ROMANCE DAWN

The title of the first episode of the live action series is  Romance Dawn .

Oda wrote two separate stories with this title published in  the 1996 Weekly Shonen Jump summer special  and in the magazine’s 1996 issue 41.

They were later included on  One Piece Red and the short story volume WANTED! both published by  Star Comics . The third version of Romance Dawn is the first chapter of the  One Piece manga  published exactly one year after the first version.

The protagonist of both the first two versions is a pirate named Monkey D. Luffy, but the story and the characters are very different from each other.

In 2008, the first version was used as the basis for a 33-minute special titled  One Piece Romance Dawn Story , for the  Jump Super Anime Tour 08 event . A new special that aired in 2019 adapted the second version.

The One Piece live action series, produced by Tomorrow Studios (live action Cowboy Bebop), consists of  10 episodes .
