Amazon has unveiled the official trailer and poster for Paper Girls , a series based on the comic of the same name by Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang .
We are in 1988 Cleveland: four newspaper delivery girls, Tiffany Quilkin (Camryn Jones), Erin Tieng (Riley Lai Nelet), Mac Coyle (Sofia Rosinsky) and KJ Brandman (Fina Strazza) , are transported 30 years into the future, and they find themselves embroiled in a war between rival factions of time travelers. As if that weren’t enough, they also meet themselves as adults.
Paper Girlsstars four girls – Erin, Mac, Tiffany and KJ – who, while distributing newspapers the morning after Halloween night 1988, find themselves unwittingly embroiled in a conflict between rival factions of time travelers that will change their lives forever. . Transported to the future, the girls will have to find a way to return to their past, and this search will lead them to meet adult versions of themselves. While resigning themselves to the fact that their future is very different from what they imagined as 12-year-olds, they are hunted down by a militant faction of time travelers known as Old Watch, which has outlawed time travel so they can stay in power. To survive, girls will have to overcome their differences and learn to trust each other as well as themselves.

The cast consists of Camryn Jones, Riley Lai Nelet, Sofia Rosinsky, Fina Strazza, Nate Corddry, Adina Porter and Ali Wong .
The adaptation was entrusted to Stephany Folsom , who was to be executive producer along with Vaughan and Plan B , but the author left the series. Folsom is known for Toy Story 4 and Thor: Ragnarok , though the Writers Guild of America has denied her credit as the latter’s co-writer. She also wrote the script for 1969: A Space Odyssey Or: How Kubrick Learned to Stop Worrying and Land on the Moon , included in the Black List. The showrunner is now Christopher C. Roger .
