As promised by James Gunn , HBO Max ushered in 2022 with a new trailer for Peacemaker , and it’s a red band – so expect a cocktail of foul language and brutal action.
Obviously, the trailer contains many unreleased scenes, and shows Clemson Murn ( Chukwudi Iwuji ) recruiting Christopher Smith / Peacemaker ( John Cena ) for a very dangerous mission. With him there will be Adrian Chase / Vigilante ( Freddie Stroma ), Leota Adebayo ( Danielle Brooks ), John Economos ( Steve Agee ), Emilia Harcourt ( Jennifer Holland ) and the eagle Eagly , mascot of our “hero”. The goliardic and paradoxical humor is typical of Gunn, who created, wrote and co-directed the show.
Yesterday we found out that each episode will have a scene after the credits . The series is a spin-off of The Suicide Squad , and its debut is expected on January 13 in the United States. You can see the trailer below.
