it will be shot in his Birmingham studios. Not only that: Knight added that filming should start “within eighteen months”.

Here is what Knight said:

We will shoot it in Digbeth’s studios, and on location in Digbeth, Birmingham. Digbeth and Small Heath are the areas where the Peaky Blinders actually hang out, so it’s like the Peaky are coming home.

The film, according to the author, will see the return of a large part of the cast, which includes Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson, Joe Cole and Tom Hardy , but there will also be “some new faces that, I hope, will be quite surprising”.

Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby

Knight is also working on the theatrical ballet Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby , which premieres at the Birmingham Hippodrome on September 27, followed by a premiere at London’s Troubadour Wembley Park on October 12. She will later tour the UK in 2023. The show will include live musicians, directed by Yaron Engler . The music was written by Roman GianArthur and Nate Wonder . Guillaume Quéau and Prince Lyons will alternate in the role of Thomas Shelby, Naya Lovell and Seren Williams in that of Grace.
