Pentium and Celeron say goodbye to notebooks: now they will be Intel Processor

Changes in entry- level laptops with this measure.

Intel says goodbye to two brands that made history in computers for mass consumption.

The American company announced that Pentium and Celeron will no longer be in its notebook catalog from 2023.

These brands have focused on entry and mid-range products, which will now be identified as “ Intel Processor ”.

Intel assures that this change will simplify the company’s offer without affecting the products for this segment.

“ Intel Processor will serve as a brand name for multiple families of processors, helping to simplify the product buying experience for consumers. Intel will continue to deliver the same products and benefits in these segments. The (new) branding leaves Intel’s current product offering and pipeline unchanged,” the statement said.

Intel wants to bring more attention to its Intel Core , Intel Evo , and Intel vPro brands in the notebook segment.
