Now you can use Adobe Photoshop without the need for a license. These are the functions that it will include.
Adobe has announced that it is releasing a free version of Photoshop for its users.
To access this version it is only necessary to create an Adobe account and we will only need to enter its website. How does it work?
This is what Photoshop brings for free
Adobe has noted that this free version will have some limited features, but that they seek to make editing easier for newcomers.
“We want to make [ Photoshop ] more accessible and easier for more people to try and experience the product,” says Maria Yap, vice president of digital imaging at Adobe.
In itself, this version is not new, since the web version had been launched in October of last year . However, on that occasion it was mainly sought to be a collaborative tool rather than a personal edition.
Before, someone had to share a document on the web from the desktop app (using their respective account), but now any Photoshop subscriber can log in and start a new document directly from the web.
Adobe ‘s goal is to use the web version of Photoshop to make the app more accessible and potentially hook users who will want to pay for the full version in the future.
is still limited
At the moment, this free version is only in testing in Canada and there is no clear roadmap as to when we might see it in Latin America.
It will also be available only for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
