POCO wants users to confirm its motto ‘quality-price’ and brings its new family of equipment for this 2023.
POCO has shown off this Monday what it knows how to do best, surprise us with its equipment and has presented us with the new POCO X5 and X5 Pro to try to conquer the market.
Xiaomi’s sister brand, which is known for delivering beastly specifications at very competitive prices, wants to return to style after a criticized 2022 version , and to do so, it will put great power in front of its cell phones.
The LITTLE X5
The standard sibling of the family, the X5 , will arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip with 6 and 8GB versions of RAM, plus 128 and 256GB of internal storage.
Its screen will be 6.66” AMOLED with a resolution of 2400 x 1800 pixels. Its refresh rate will reach 120 hertz, while it will give us a brightness of 1200 nits. It will be protected with Gorilla Glass 3.
As for cameras, it will have a triple sensor with a 498MP main lens, plus an 8MP wide angle and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, it will have a 13MP sensor.
The autonomy of the equipment will be determined by the 5000 mAh, with a fast charge of 33W.
Finally, we will have software based on Android 12 (MIUI 14), but with the promise of an update to Android 13 soon.
The big brother: the POCO X5 Pro
The head of the family is aiming high with a similar design, but with more power.
The X5 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 778G with Dynamic RAM Expansion technology, to increase virtual memory to the 8GB of RAM that we maintain. The chip also accepts support for 5G networks.
In terms of screen, Flow AMOLED technology is added with a 10-bit panel compatible with HDR10 and Dolby Vision.
As for cameras, the main sensor is 108 MP along with the aforementioned 8MP wide angle and 2MP macro. On the front, the MP goes up to 16.
And the last change is fast charging, reaching up to 67W in this version.

The equipment will be available on February 13.
