RealityOS would be the operating system carried by the company’s augmented reality and virtual reality products .
For months, different developers have found clues to RealityOS, a supposed new system that Apple was producing in order to use it in its next augmented and virtual reality devices . And days after WWDC 2022 , there are more clues about it.
Parker Ortolani, product manager at Vox Media, shared on his Twitter account two filings from the US Patent and Trademark Office related to a company called Realityo Systems LLC . The specialist points out that this would be a “ghost company” created by Apple.
It cannot be a coincidence that the “realityOS” trademark owned by a company that seemingly doesn’t exist and is specifically for “wearable computer hardware” is being filed around the world on June 8, 2022 https://t.co/myoRbOvgJa + https://t.co/AH97r95EMn pic.twitter.com/uvsiZCj2rR

Why do you suggest this?
9to5Mac notes that Realityo Systems LLC shares the same address as Yosemite Research LLC, the shell company that Apple used to protect trademarks for earlier versions of its macOS operating system, including macOS Monterey .
Additionally , in some countries, Realityo Systems LLC filed trademark applications that include a realityOS logo written in Apple’s signature font .
However, this is only the tip of the iceberg since for months there has also been information about the mixed reality glasses that Apple is producing for the market, in what would be the creation of multiverses.
Apple executives have already presented a preview of their upcoming mixed reality headsets to the company’s board of directors, which would indicate that their development is at an advanced stage, as reported by Bloomberg .
