The new official trailer for Red (Turning Red), the next Pixar film coming March 10, 2022, is available.
The film is produced by Lindsey Collins and directed by Domee Shi (winner of the Academy Award for the short film of 2018 Bao) here making his debut as a feature film director.
The plot
Red stars Mei Lee, a 13-year-old who suddenly transforms into a giant red panda when she gets too excited (which practically means ALWAYS). Mei Lee’s mother, Ming, is protective, if not slightly bossy, and never strays from her daughter – an embarrassing reality for a teenager like her.

The voices
Rosalie Chiang voices the protagonist, Sandra Oh (The Chair, Killing Eve) voices Ming, Mei’s mother.
