Rick and Morty season six will debut September 4 on Adult Swim, and while there aren’t any major details on the episodes, some statements made by co-creator Justin Roiland.

In an interview published by IGN, begin to shed some light on what. we can expect.

Roiland said season 6 will be “a little more canonical” and “fantastic”. Here are his statements in detail:

I can say that it is a bit more canonical. It’s truly a reward for the fans who have followed the series up to this point. So I think we’re finally back in the right rhythm of Rick and Morty , and I think Season 6 is… It’s not that I think Season 5 is bad, but Season 6 is absolutely fantastic. It really is a quality shit of the season.

The synopsis of season 6

It’s season 6 and Rick and Morty are back! You will find them where we left them, battered and in a difficult time. Will they be able to recover and go on new adventures? Or will they be swept away by an ocean of pee? Who knows?! Pee! Family! Intrigues! A bunch of dinosaurs! More pee! Another unmissable season of your favorite series.

The official synopsis of the series

Rick Sanchez is a genius, probably the most intelligent in the whole universe, indeed in the multi-universe. Precisely for this reason, probably, Rick is also incredibly self-centered while his nephew Morty, his companion in adventures chosen by him despite him is, unlike his grandfather, naive and stupid. The improbable duo is faced in each episode with adventures out of the ordinary, between interdimensional or “simply” intergalactic journeys and alternative realities with worlds populated by mutants and clones. In Rick and Morty there is definitely no limit to the imagination!

Authors and cast

Rick and Morty was created by Dan Harmon ( Community ) and Justin Roiland ( Solar Opposites ). The vocal cast includes Roiland (as both Rick and Morty), Sarah Chalke, Chris Parnell and Spencer Grammer .
