The CW has released the trailer for the seventh and final season of Riverdale , which, as already revealed , will be set in the 50s, and more precisely in 1955. Here it is…
Riverdale stars KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper and Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge. And also Mädchen Amick, Madelaine Petsch, Skeet Ulrich and Chris Mason . The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, in association with Berlanti Productions. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Jon Goldwater are executive producers.
Aguirre-Sacasa, creator and showrunner, explained:
Mainly it’s about our characters trying to find their way in the reality of the 50s, trying to discover themselves in a conformist, oppressive, homophobic and racist world. Our characters are trying to live authentic lives in a time when it was really hard to do that and that’s a big challenge.
The final season of Riverdale will premiere on The CW on March 29.
