The film, set in the fictional city of Granite City, tells the story of Mr. Smith (Sylvester Stallone), a heroic vigilante who was thought to have died in a fire after battling the evil Nemesis.
His young neighbor, Sam Cleary (Javon Walton), will convince him to get back into action to rid the city of crime and corruption.

The cast also includes Pilou Asbæk (seen in Game of Thrones ), Dascha Polanco and Moises Arias. Samaritan is directed by Julius Avery , while Bragi F. Schut handled the script.
This is a project announced back in 2019 and produced by Balboa Productions Postcast , which has finally found a home and will be released on Prime Video starting August 26.
