Samsung prepares the arsenal of phones in the mid-range: Galaxy A34 and A54 on the way

Samsung prepares the renewal of its Galaxy A range with two models that will arrive in March.

Samsung does not stop on the fertile ground of mobile telephony , and the Galaxy A line is already preparing its new version. As pointed out to RPP TM Roh, president of Samsung Mobile .

the South Korean brand identified that “instead of offering several models in the A Series, it would be better to be selective and focus. This will allow us to clarify and distinguish each model in the series, differentiating the competitiveness and different factors of each product”. Under this business vision, Samsung prepares the renewal of its two emblematic mid-range equipment: the A34 and the A54.

Rumors of its production came 5 months ago, along with the Galaxy A14 team presented at CES 2023 . In this case, Samsung can already proudly maintain that almost all of its A range has 5G connectivity in this generation of devices. Now, the A54 and A34 are scheduled to arrive on March 15, according to OnLeaks’ Steve Hemmerstoffer on Twitter.

Samsung A54: all the details

For this 2023 version of the A5X line, Samsung is preparing a device with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen, FullHD resolution and 120 hertz refresh rate. This leak leaves us with a terminal that reduces the size of the current A53 5G by a tenth of an inch. Under the chassis, this new A54 5G model will carry the Exynos 1380, so we are facing an important move at Samsung: Snapdragon in the high-end, Exynos and MediaTek in the mid-range and entry-level.

Along with this, the team could carry between 8 and 12GB of RAM along with 128 or 256GB without the possibility of extending the storage by microSD, although this is not 100% confirmed. Rumors also point to a trio of 50, 12, and 5 MP cameras as main, wide-angle, and telephoto, respectively.

Undoubtedly, the A3X saga has managed to meet the expectations of the most desirable telephony market, and the successor to the A33 does not come with few benefits this year. We are talking about a 6.6-inch device with a small notch AMOLED panel (Infinity V, according to Samsung) and that it would be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor for 5G connectivity and manage the autonomy of the 5000 mAh.

This equipment would integrate, according to the leaks, between 6 and 8GB of RAM, along with 128 or 256GB of internal storage. The cameras would be 48 MP on the main lens, 8 MP for wide-angle shots, and 5 MP for macro. The selfie housed in the notch would be 13 MP.
